The Julian Milkis and Maxim Lubarsky Trio presents a captivating "Tribute to Benny Goodman," a homage to the legendary jazz clarinetist and bandleader known as “King of Swing”. Led by Benny Goodman's only pupil - renowned clarinetist Julian Milkis, and an acclaimed pianist Maxim Lubarsky, the group delivers a spellbinding performance reminiscent of Goodman's iconic sound.

Joined by John Lockwood on bass, and Rafael Barata on drums, the ensemble’s  infectious energy and impeccable musicianship breathes new life into Goodman's timeless repertoire, paying homage to his enduring legacy while infusing each performance with their own distinctive flair.

The concert features a rich tapestry of traditional jazz and classical music from Benny Goodman's repertoire, including pieces by Alec Templeton, Dick Hyman, Morton Gould, Gordon Jenkins, Astor Piazzola, Mozart, Faina Lushtak, Alexey Shor, Alexander Tsfasman, and more.

From classic standards to lesser-known gems, the quartet’s interpretation captures the essence of Goodman's pioneering spirit, delighting audiences with its blend of nostalgia and innovation.
